Environmental Achievements

• Waste water treatment projects in operation treated approximately 1.19 billion m3 of waste water and reduced approximately 319,000 tonnes of chemical oxygen demand (COD) discharge.
• Most of the Company’s operating waste water treatment projects reach the Grade 1A effluent discharge standard according to the “Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant” (GB18918-2002).
• Produced over 11,061,000 m3 of reclaimed water with recycling ratio reaching 71.49%.
• Generated approximately 698,000 tonnes of sludge, of which about 90.36% was recycled and reused.

Social Achievements

• Implemented the ESHS Management System and Risk Management System.
• Organised contest on ESHS knowledge to raise awareness on environmental and social impact management.
• Average training time per employee reached 69.52 hours.
• Developed a supplementary pension system for employees.
• Offered sufficient maternity leave to pregnant employees as well as paternity leave to male employees.

Governance Achievements

• Implemented the ESHS Management System and Risk Management System.
• The Board of the Company has reviewed the material environmental, social and economic issues. The Board will manage and monitor these issues and take them into consideration in determining the Company’s business direction and strategies, and actively undertake social responsibility and contribute corporate value to build a “Beautiful China”.
