Governance Achievements

  • Completed a review of the Remuneration Policy to ensure it continues to support the realization of Nilfisk’s strategy as well as recognizes the changes in the governance environment in accordance with the Danish Companies Act and the amended EU Directive on the encouragement of long-term shareholder engagement
  • Preparing, drafting and approving a new Remuneration Policy that will replace the previous Remuneration Policy, including guidelines for incentive pay

Environmental Challenges

  • Significant negative impact on market demand in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Low demand due to COVID-19 across all markets and customer segments in the branded professional business

  • Initiated a wide-scale restructuring along with strict cost control to minimize costs and investments and to free up management resources during the crisis
