Social Achievements
- Showcased how wildlife tourism supports 21.8 million jobs globally (6.8% of total Travel & Tourism jobs), equivalent to the entire population of Sri Lanka. Highlighted the role of tourism in empowering local communities and providing sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Governance Achievements
- Launched the Buenos Aires Declaration on Illegal Wildlife Trade, signed by over 110 WTTC members, aiming to raise awareness among one billion consumers and devise a zero-tolerance policy.
