  • Saved over 40,000 plastic toiletry bottles and 100,000 single-use water bottles in 2022.
  • Saved over 300,000 single-use water bottles since 2020.
  • 3,500,496 liters of water saved per year thanks to flow restrictors in showers.
  • Restored over 12 acres of wildflower meadows.
  • Planted 6 miles of edible and native hedging.
  • Reduced carbon intensity of water provision by seven times, saving 36 tonnes of CO2e a year.

Social Achievements

  • Raised over £80,000 for Action Against Hunger and Hospitality Action.
  • Trained 73 Mental Health First Aiders in 2022.
  • 96 internal promotions in the last 12 months.
  • 182 apprentices onboarded since 2015, with 82% still with the business.
  • Launched a ‘Homegrown Entrepreneur’ scheme to develop future leaders.

Governance Achievements

  • Changed Articles of Association to legally commit to ESG principles.

Short-term Goals:
  • Create next iteration of Responsible Purchasing and Practices Policy
  • To have at least 1× MHFA on every shift in every hotel
  • Reach 10% of headcount as Apprentices
  • Launch volunteer days and have 1,000 volunteer hours completed
  • To donate over £17,000 to local causes
  • Set Waste Reduction targets
  • Install an additional 10 bat boxes across THE PIGs
  • Continue work with The NLH and expand partnerships to support additional native flora and fauna
