Social Achievements

  • Prior to the disposal of its interest in LPD, through its partner KLK, produced Sustainability Reports, that described the Company’s ongoing community work and illustrated its corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) policies.

  • The Directors are committed to maintaining high standards of corporate governance. The Directors have established procedures, so far as is practicable given the Company’s size, to comply with the QCA Corporate Governance Code (the “QCA Code”).

Mitigation Strategies
  • If completion of the transaction with CML occurs, the Company has a commitment to ensure future operations are conducted with as limited as possible environmental impact, with CML in continual discussions with all stakeholders with respect to the Sri Lankan project.
  • The Company regularly reviews its Health, Safety & Environment (‘HSE’) and other policies and works responsibly with suppliers, and performance is monitored on an on-going basis.
  • The Board are planning to raise sufficient funds to cover the working capital requirements of CML before they complete the transaction.
