Environmental Achievements
- Reduced electricity usage by 60,500 kWh and cut CO2 emissions by 37 tons in four months at TIC-SA (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) through an energy awareness initiative.
- Reduced waste to landfill by 25 percent at WEC/Columbia facility.
- Eliminated the use of anhydrous ammonia at WEC/Columbia facility.
- Launched aggressive wood, cardboard, plastic and aluminum recycling programs at WEC/Columbia facility.
- Reduced xylene emissions by 43 percent and eliminated the use of paint thinner at TIC in Houston through paint reformulation.
