- Received Environmental Approval from the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) of Sri Lanka in August 2019.
- Granted an Environmental Protection Licence (EPL) for its K1 Graphite Mining Project from the CEA in November 2019.
Social Achievements
- Commercial production of the K1 graphite mine started on December 13th, 2019.
- First sale of graphite to 2D Materials Pvt Ltd of Singapore (1 tonne) in June 2020.
- Second sale of graphite to Elves Graphite Co, Ltd of Seoul, South Korea (300 kgs) in June 2020.
Governance Achievements
- Granted an Industrial Mining Licence Category A for its K1 Project from the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB) in August 2019.

- Potential for deformation of graphite veins by weathering in some areas.

- Discussions with landowners to obtain authorization for surface and underground work.
