Mitigation Strategies

• A successful fund-raise of £5.7 million strengthened the balance sheet and provided funding through 2020 and 2021.

Environmental Achievements

• Launch Diagnostics signed a lease for a new more energy efficient premises, with a better EPC rating. The new premises also has electric charging points for vehicles to support the change in car fleet.
• Coris installed solar panels at their premises in Gembloux, Belgium to help minimise non-renewable energy usage.
• Launch Diagnostics is committed to achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

Social Achievements

• Launch Diagnostics won the ‘Best Stand Award’ at the IBMS Congress for a sustainability themed stand, which used recycled pallets to build the main wall, recycled cardboard signage and living plants.
• The Group’s gender profile across all employees as at 31 December 2023 was 52% female and 48% male.
• The Directors work across all the Group’s facilities and provide regular updates to employees, most of whom are either shareholders or holders of share options, on the progress of the Group.

Governance Achievements

• The Board adopts the Quoted Companies Alliance’s (‘QCA’) Corporate Governance Code for small and mid-size quoted companies.
• The Board met regularly throughout the year, either in person or by video conferencing methods, with ad hoc meetings also being held.
