Environmental Achievements

• TCI Sanmar Chemicals is the first in MENA and African regions to tap into unconventional ways to produce non-fossil fuel-dependent PVC. It’s also the first in the petrochemical industry to issue an environmental product declaration for PVC.
• TCI Sanmar launched the fourth sustainability report, titled ‘Road to Green Production’
• Sanmar Sarod, a long-range 1 (LR1) clean petroleum Product tanker, joined the fleet. It is compliant with NOx Tier 1 emission standards and has a ballast water treatment system and energy-saving devices.

Social Achievements

• Renovated and modernised the 23-year-old Mrs Madhuram Narayanan Block at the Cancer Institute.
• New facilities inaugurated at Vaidheeswara School, Mettur, including a computer lab and sanitation blocks.
• Sanmar-Vidya Mandir Sportstar U-14 cricket tournament held.
