Environmental Achievements

  • Recycled waste volumes more than doubled in one month at a Perth shopping centre (from 429kg to over 1000kg).
  • Diverted approximately 80,000 kilograms of food waste across two Victorian sites, saving 170 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Used Tersano Aqueous Water chemical-free cleaning systems at multiple sites across Australia and New Zealand since 2017.

Social Achievements

  • Millennium’s lost time injury frequency rate continues to outperform average industry rates significantly (8.61% vs 14.2% for Cleaning and 24.6% for Security).
  • Reconciliation Australia endorsed Millennium’s Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan in March 2023.
  • Partnership with Codee Cleaning Services, an indigenous-owned cleaning company, continues to evolve.
