Climate Goals & Targets
Medium-term Goals:
- If the grades and thicknesses of silver-gold mineralization intercepted in Phase One are in-line with historic drill results, and indicate continuity of the Queen Vein ore shoot around the historic Consolidated Mine stopes, a second phase of drilling should be planned to offset and infill successful drill intercepts at a spacing that will allow for calculation of a mineral resource.
Short-term Goals:
- Update geologic models and model internal vein phases where possible
- Identify areas outside the Consolidated Mine/Queen Vein to offset prior intercepts on targets successfully tested with 1984-2010 drilling, and test new targets identified by sampling and geologic modeling
- Collect density measurements of drill core to characterize tonnage factors for rock and vein types
- Submit coarse rejects and pulps from mineralized vein zones for initial metallurgical testing
Environmental Challenges
- Heavy snow or summer thunderstorms could potentially delay exploration or mining work.
Mitigation Strategies
- Any delays would be on the order of a few days.
