Social Achievements

  • FIA WIM Networking event was held at the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.

  • United Against Online Abuse signed a range of influential stakeholders, including the French, Albanian and Greek governments.
  • Launched a new United Against Online Abuse scholarship at Dublin City University
  • Accessible and Inclusive Karting Worldwide initiative was launched

Governance Achievements

  • Reduced the operating loss by €+7.0m compared to prior year, to €-0.8m
  • Established new processes to achieve further cost reductions
  • At the Baku General Assembly in December 2023, FIA member clubs approved amending the reporting structure of the Ethics Committee, transferring its accountability from the President of the FIA to the Senate, enhancing the committee’s independence.
  • Similarly, the reporting line for the Compliance Officer was realigned to the Senate.
  • The Senate is actively enhancing FIA’s integrity through the review and reinforcement of processes, protocols, and evaluations to ensure a state-of-the-art model is put in place for the future of the FIA.
  • A new financial model has been instituted, affording transparency and visibility across the organisation
