Environmental Achievements

  • Operates a biofilter plant at the Haren location to reduce styrene emissions from the pultrusion process.
  • Apprentices at the Worms location identified energy savings opportunities resulting in annual savings of up to 150 metric tons of carbon dioxide and €49,000.
  • More than 90% of chips and leftover pieces produced during machining are sent for reprocessing within the company.
  • Many Röchling Group locations are certified to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 environmental and energy management systems.

Social Achievements

  • Launched the “Guidelines for Leadership and Collaboration” project to maintain a positive work environment during company growth.

  • Commissioned a photovoltaic system at the Automotive location in Kunshan, China.
  • Opened a plastics recycling location in Geeste-Dalum, Germany, processing plastic residues from production and customers.

  • Achieved energy savings of around EUR 43,000 and 145 metric tons of CO2 annually at the Automotive location in Worms, Germany through efficient temperature control.
