Environmental Achievements

• Recycled 674,872 pounds of paper, avoiding 488,607 pounds of CO2 emissions, conserving 1,687 cubic yards of landfill space, preserving 5,662 trees, saving 9,249,458 gallons of water and saving 762,605 kWh of electricity.
• Invested more than $400,000 to replace light fixtures in certain operations and branch locations to make them LED capable.
• 100% of paper purchased was Sustainable Forestry Initiative — Certified Sourcing.

Social Achievements

• Launched Supplier Diversity Program, investing almost $13 million in 240 small and diverse businesses in 2018.
• Teammates volunteered more than 3,500 hours in 2019.
• Invested approximately $42 million in the community through investments in tax credit and other funds and loans, and corporate sponsorships in 2018.
• Reached more than 100,000 students across Virginia through financial literacy programs.
