  • Achieved Science Based Targets (SBT) Initiative certification in January 2023 for CO2 emissions reduction targets (Scope 1 & 2: 50.4% reduction from FY2018; Scope 3: 30% reduction from FY2018 for Category 1 and 11).
  • 100% renewable energy electricity at Tokyo and Tokorozawa Works.
  • Established CITIZEN Group Environmental Vision 2050 and CITIZEN Group Environmental Goals 2030 aiming for virtually zero CO2 emissions from factories and offices.

Social Achievements

  • 100% of female employees return to work after childcare leave (excluding those who left due to spouse transfer).
  • Introduced a job return system for those who left due to spouse relocation, childcare, or nursing care.
  • Aims to increase the ratio of female managers to at least 20% by 2030 (from 9% in FY2023).
  • Actively encourages male employees to take childcare leave.
  • Regular engagement-related survey introduced in FY2022 leading to an in-house recruitment system and inclusion of listening skills in manager training.
