Environmental Achievements
- Planted more than 24,084 trees, creating a 'Servcorp Forest' covering more than 100,000 square metres and sequestering more than 6,454.16 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
Social Achievements
- Raised and donated over $750,000 to various charities globally, with Servcorp matching employee fundraising dollar for dollar. Supported Youngcare (Australia), Cancer Council, Carers Australia, Exodus Foundation, and many other organizations.
Governance Achievements
- Maintained a majority of independent directors on the board. Established an Audit and Risk Committee and a Remuneration Committee to oversee corporate governance practices. Complied with ASX Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations (details in report).

Environmental Challenges
- Challenging global economic conditions, particularly in the USA, Europe, and Japan. Aggressive competition in many markets. Strong Australian dollar impacting revenue. Lag in revenue growth for new US floors due to challenging economic times.
Mitigation Strategies
- Slowed the pace of expansion in 2012 to consolidate operations. Focused on growing revenue and controlling immature floor losses. Opened fewer floors than originally planned. Implemented a new key executive bonus pool scheme to better align remuneration with performance and shareholder returns.
