Social Achievements

  • Expanded use of online learning tools for employee training, with a focus on safety and compliance, including COVID-19 safety. Over 47,000 individual course completions in safety and compliance training modules.
  • As of December 31, 2020, the organizational makeup was 50.5% female and 49.5% male with approximately 41% of management roles held by women.
  • Implemented various mitigating actions to preserve liquidity in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, including delaying material capital expenditures, reducing operating expenses and implementing a cost reduction program with respect to discretionary expenditures. Maintained a headcount of over 6,700 employees (over 80% of pre-pandemic headcount) by the end of 2020 after bringing employees back from furlough.

  • Lease concessions for certain taverns and route locations (deferral and forgiveness of rent payments).
