Environmental Achievements
- Three major timber-producing units are FSC certified.
- Almost 100 percent of the Group’s lighting sales are LEDs, reducing energy consumption.
- All future electricity contracts will be with companies supplying renewable energy; aiming for 50% renewable energy in 2021 and 100% by 2025.
Social Achievements
- New organisational structure created more opportunities for diversity work.
- Number of accidents fell to 82 in 2020 from 92 in 2019.
- Targeted training initiatives carried out in 2020, such as LEAN method training and negotiation training.
Governance Achievements
- Around 100 percent of the Group’s employees had signed up to the Code of Conduct by the end of 2020.
- Regular reviews and evaluations of internal checks in all subsidiaries.
- Internal audit now also covers the follow-up of the sustainability programme and the Code of Conduct.
