  • Participated in the Welsh government sponsored Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP) and completed works to 21 properties comprising the installation of air source heat pumps, solar panels and battery energy storage. Further ORP works to 234 properties planned for 2022/23.
  • New self-delivered schemes in the pipeline will be EPC A.

Social Achievements

  • Jobs & Training – 66 tenants placed in work in 2021/22; 30 tenants provided with training.
  • Money Advice – 765 people supported in managing money and claiming benefits in 2021/22.

Governance Achievements

  • Governance (including tenant services) and Financial Viability received a Compliant – Green rating from the Welsh Government.
  • No adverse regulatory findings in the last 12 months.

Environmental Achievements

  • Completed works to 243 properties under the Optimised Retrofit Programme, installing air source heat pumps, solar panels, and battery energy storage.
  • For self-delivered new homes, preference is given to timber-frame construction through their own PEFC-accredited factory, certified as climate-positive by Earthly.

Social Achievements

  • Successfully transitioned all general needs rents to meet affordability criteria (not exceeding 33% of the Standard National Living Wage).
  • Implemented the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016, providing secure forms of occupation contracts for 94% of general needs residents.
  • Provided jobs & training schemes placing 29 residents into meaningful work and providing training to 38 residents in 2022/23.
  • Offered money advice services with 1084 referrals in 2022/23.

Governance Achievements

  • Received a Green/Green rating from the Welsh Government for Governance and Financial Viability.
  • Maintained a high percentage of in-date gas safety checks (99.94%) and compliant fire risk assessments (99.72%).
