  • Formally announced its response to Climate Action 100+ (CA100+) in November 2020, requiring all affiliated plants to comply with the local government’s carbon emission policy.
  • Announced its contribution and determination to the 1.5ºC goal, to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
  • Submitted an ambitiously stringent 1.5ºC commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in January 2021.

Environmental Achievements

  • Greenhouse gas categories 1 and 2 decreased by 51.08% compared with the base year of 2020.
  • The Group’s energy-saving target for 2023 was 4.5%. The actual energy-saving rate was 5.90%.
  • The Group’s total installed renewable energy capacity reached 325.82MW, and the usage of renewable energies reached 5,396.05 GWh and renewable energy usage ratios were 60.96%.
