  • Supported installation of 724 small irrigation schemes to boost vegetable production.

Social Achievements

  • Reached 235,789 farming households, 73% of participants were women.
  • Supported 258,808 participants through trainings and demonstrations.
  • Graduated 62,494 participants (86% female, 59% from disadvantaged groups) from Business Literacy Program.
  • Facilitated GON investments of NRs. 109 million (USD 923,729) for irrigation, seeds, machinery, polyhouses, and market infrastructure.

  • Close collaboration with the Government of Nepal (GON) at federal, provincial, and municipal levels.
  • Supported GON in developing PSE guidelines, new National Agriculture Policy, and provincial agriculture development strategies.
  • Supported the replication of the successful Rice Mill Model (RMM) by the GON.

  • Provided packhouse management training and supported cold storage facilities.
  • Focused on harnessing weather information, promoting crop insurance, and improving harvesting and storage technologies under SSOW.
