- Supported installation of 724 small irrigation schemes to boost vegetable production.

- Facilitated GON investments of NRs. 109 million (USD 923,729) for irrigation, seeds, machinery, polyhouses, and market infrastructure.
Governance Achievements
- Close collaboration with the Government of Nepal (GON) at federal, provincial, and municipal levels.
- Supported GON in developing PSE guidelines, new National Agriculture Policy, and provincial agriculture development strategies.
- Supported the replication of the successful Rice Mill Model (RMM) by the GON.

- Unexpected heavy rainfall and flooding in October 2021, destroying 14,000 hectares of rice crops.

Mitigation Strategies
- Partners adapted using mechanisms like direct collection of produce, digital payment systems, and digital information dissemination.
- Disseminated SMS alerts on harvesting, drying, and storage of damaged paddy.
- Supported cooperatives to acquire wholesale loans and adopt digital payment systems.
- Provided packhouse management training and supported cold storage facilities.
- Focused on harnessing weather information, promoting crop insurance, and improving harvesting and storage technologies under SSOW.
