• Elimination of airborne dust particles from brakes
• Elimination of brake noise
• SIBS Garbage Truck Brake will assist in improving air quality by eliminating up to 30 kilograms of fine brake dust particles every year, for every truck that uses our system

• Softer than expected 4th quarter sales in mining sector due to short-term external factors impacting the resource sector resulting in capital expenditure being delayed and many mine expansions being curtailed

Mitigation Strategies

• Increased expenditure on product upgrades
• Funding for product development came from internal cash flows, a substantial Commercialisation Australia grant and also from a successful equity capital raising

• Decrease in the estimated Research and Development (R&D) tax incentive refund for the year, when compared to FY18.
• Requirement to undertake a design review of the Terra Dura Brake
• Reduction in staff numbers following the organisational review

Mitigation Strategies

• A number of cost saving initiatives were implemented which resulted in the operating cash outflows being significantly reduced in the second half of the year.
• Improved sales and product margins in the second half, coupled with a reduction in corporate overhead as a result of the organisational review.
• New sales strategy implemented, providing greater market intelligence.
