Created a new Nominating & ESG Committee to oversee sustainability objectives
Increased the size of the Paychex Charitable Foundation to nearly $20 million and announced a Strategic Giving Framework focused on employee wellness
Established managerial or board-level responsibility for diversity initiatives
Implemented targeted recruitment activities, training, mentorship programs, and philanthropic support to organizations that support diverse communities

Long-term Goals:

Overall recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic has been uneven and presented challenges and risks from general economic uncertainty, changes in consumer demand, disruption of supply chains and challenges with hiring, labor and supply cost inflation

Maintained health and safety standards for employees meeting all regulatory requirements while providing greater levels of flexibility to employees
Remained committed to proactively supporting our clients through any lingering uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic and navigate the challenges of the future business environment
