Environmental Challenges

  • The change of macro environment, the downturn in the real estate market and the repeated outbreak of the epidemic triggered a series of chain reactions, which brought certain challenges to our business development.
  • Merchants and suppliers were affected by the repeated outbreak of the epidemic.
  • The downturn in the real estate market and the shortage of capital chain of real estate developers.
  • The repeated COVID-19 epidemic and lockdown measures in the first half of the year, coupled with the nationwide epidemic repeated outbreak in the fourth quarter, it had a serious impact on both the user side and the merchant side.
Mitigation Strategies
  • Adjusted the strategic direction of the self-operated decoration business, and recreated the mid-to-high-end decoration brand “Brausen” and the partial renovation brand “Youzi”
  • Adjusted the strategic direction of the public decoration brand “Jumei” and reduced the bidding of the refined customized service for real estate developers.
  • Optimized digital tools, including site management, marketing, customer service, material supply, etc., to help merchants improve operational efficiency, reduce operating costs and enhance customer experience.
  • Established our private brand to reduce cost of sales
  • Upgraded the Qijiabao service in the SaaS tool for Brausen’s users to monitor site work online
