Environmental Achievements

  • Reduced emissions through the installation of 20 dual-part electric charging stations for airline-owned electric-powered ground support equipment (eGSE). Annual emissions reductions to be reported in future reports.
  • Improved aircraft de-icer recovery rate (7.4% in 2020)
  • Participation in the City of Reno’s ReEnergize Reno initiative to improve building energy usage and water efficiency.

Social Achievements

  • Launched "We Move You, Safely" campaign, resulting in a smaller decline in passenger traffic than the industry average.
  • Successfully conducted the annual RNO Employee Art Show despite COVID-19 restrictions.
  • Maintained an overall Outside Properties occupancy rate of 98.5%, promoting increased non-airline revenue.
  • Reinstatement of the Paws 4 Passengers therapy dog program with COVID-19 safety measures.
  • Utilized RTS to assist in regional COVID-19 response efforts by hosting events for food and healthcare resources.

  • Implemented workforce management strategies (hiring freeze, wage freeze, furloughs) resulting in more than $2.4 million in personnel cost reduction.
