Governance Achievements

Short-term Goals:
  • New phrase is expected to be launched in the first quarter of year 2014 with the anticipation of the completion of the Villa Orkid Project.

Environmental Challenges

  • Lower revenue of RM134.6 million as compared to RM146.9 million recorded in the previous financial year. The decrease in revenue was mainly due to elimination of inter-company revenue.
  • The profit before taxation for the Group decreased from RM55.4 million in 2012 to RM48.0 million in 2013. This was mainly attributable to impairment loss on investment in an associated company.
Mitigation Strategies
  • The construction division will continue to grow the order book by undertaking more projects through active participation in promising tenders.
  • The on-going construction and property development projects will continue to contribute profit for the coming years.
