Environmental Achievements

  • Reduced water consumption by 83% in Woodland, California over 4 years (from 3 million gallons to less than 500 thousand gallons per year)
  • Saved over 1,000,000 liters of water annually in Nogales, Mexico through filter and reuse of water for pipe extrusion production
  • Lowered yearly electricity usage by nearly 250,000 kWh in Nogales, Mexico through chiller renovation and piping insulation
  • Completed re-lamping to LED lighting in Rosieres, France and Monastir, Tunisia, resulting in over 50% more efficient lighting

Social Achievements

  • 91% response rate from employees in 2017 Global Employee Engagement Survey; 83% of employees understand how their job links to company strategic goals (2% above manufacturing benchmarks); 84% of employees indicated they are working in a safe area (3% above manufacturing benchmarks)
  • Since 2016, 22 college graduates completed or continue to work in the Leadership Rotational Program; 10 college students completed or continue to work in the Co-Op Program; 22 college students participated in internships in 2017
  • Provided clean water to 9,000 people in China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico in partnership with Planet Water Foundation since 2016
  • Launched a global fundraising campaign for Planet Water in 2018 and continued to send employee volunteers to assist with various projects
