Environmental Challenges
- A tragic contractor accident in early 2023.
- Litigation claims related to the Esaase SRF slowed progress.
Mitigation Strategies
- Installed collision avoidance and fatigue monitoring systems in all haul trucks and implemented a Hazard Identification Program sitewide.
- Issues resolved amicably out of court, and Esaase communities are collaborating with the Foundation to prioritize projects for 2024.
