Environmental Achievements

  • Sponsored the Social Responsibility and Green Economy Forum under the title “The Road to Carbon Neutrality” to promote a culture of reducing carbon emissions.
  • Sponsored the “Environmental Conservation is a Pledge and a Promise” initiative, which contributed to promoting a culture of preserving the cleanliness of touristic wild parks.

Social Achievements

  • Implemented more than 107 community projects in more than 40 cities, governorates and centers, resulting in more than 20,970 beneficiaries throughout the year 2022.
  • Launched a comprehensive transformation project for elevating the human capital’s culture in order to achieve the best work environment.
  • Increased the Saudization rate to reach 95.77%, in addition to enhancing women’s participation in the workforce, as the percentage of females increased to 21.3% during the past year.
  • Provided a set of professional development programs through training courses and specialized professional certificates. More than 326 training programs and 6,836 training opportunities were provided, with a total of 10,255 working days.

Governance Achievements

  • Established a system for sustainability at BAJ after the approval of the Board of Directors to issue annual sustainability reports.
  • Changed the name of the Social Responsibility Group to “Sustainability & Social Responsibility Group” and the Social Responsibility Committee to “Sustainability & Social Responsibility Committee”.
  • Updated the evaluation mechanism for measuring KPI in coordination with both the Human Capital Group and the Strategy & Digital Transformation Group.
  • Made necessary amendments to the relevant Board and Subcommittees’ terms of reference.
