• Difficult subsoil conditions in the Elbe deepening project.
• Limited accessibility of certain areas due to breeding waders and fish spawning during Elbe deepening project.

Mitigation Strategies

• Established internal task force to find escape routes for projects.
• Chartered planes, deployed long-distance buses, and approached ministries to facilitate crew changes.

• Deployed powerful trailing suction hopper dredger Pedro Álvares Cabral to hydraulically dredge sections of the Elbe.
