Environmental Achievements

  • Replaced plastic water bottles with aluminum bottles at company-operated stores in several national parks.
  • Converted cutlery, bags, straws, bowls, plates, to-go containers, and condiments to compostable or recyclable alternatives.
  • Achieved 81% single-use packaging from recyclable, renewable, compostable materials or post-consumer content by Dec. 31, 2023.
  • Diverted more than 3.2 million pounds (1,611 tons) of food scraps for composting.
  • UBS Arena achieved zero waste (98%) in less than one year.
  • Target Field maintained its zero-waste program.
  • Yellowstone General Stores warehouse celebrated 8 years of zero waste.
