  • Reduced power consumption per ton of cement from 93.3 KWH/T to 90.41 KWH/T through various improvement steps (optimization of mills, reduced compressed air usage, interlocking system to avoid idle running).

Social Achievements

  • Maintained cordial industrial relations; conducted seminars, counselling sessions, and training to improve manpower quality, increasing productivity and efficiency.

Governance Achievements

  • Adopted a policy on prevention, prohibition, and redressal of sexual harassment at the workplace in line with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013.

  • Sluggish demand for cement resulting in a decrease in production and sales volume.
  • Major constraints in the production process due to lack of continuous power supply.
Mitigation Strategies
  • Excellent cost and operational management coupled with financial restructuring led to a net profit despite decreased sales.
  • Initiated the process of installing a 16 MW captive thermal power plant to address power supply constraints.
  • Issued equity shares on a rights basis to finance the captive power plant project.
