  • Replaced all office lighting with LED Lamps at plant level; Replaced some Air Cooled Units with Water Cooled Units at the Roorkee plant to avoid creation of negative air pressure; Installation of energy efficient blowers at Chennai plant; Reduction of layup chiller power consumption at Chennai plant; recycles broken glass (cullet) back into the furnace to reduce energy consumption

Social Achievements

  • AIS Integrated Community Development Programme (ICDP) saw a successful implementation at 51 villages; focus was on overall development through interventions in the areas of education, vocational training, health and livelihood development to help empower thousands of men, women and children living close to its manufacturing facilities at Bawal (Haryana) and Roorkee (Uttarakhand).
