Climate Goals & Targets

Long-term Goals:
  • Use exclusive scan mining technology to find prospective, innovative and highly effective materials used in both cosmetics and food.
  • Engage in vertical integration, smart development and manufacturing, patent planning and improving the effects of cosmetics and dietary supplements to achieve precise aesthetics internally and externally.
Medium-term Goals:
  • Continue to expand the network of local and overseas franchises, develop business in regional agencies and distribution, increase revenue and contribution margin of directly-operated stores, collaborate with different industries for the aesthetic medicine segment and add OEM manufacturing business.
  • Extend to overseas market through international licensing to enlarge the market share of products and enhance brand awareness.
Short-term Goals:
  • Expand revenue growth momentum using a strategy of vertical extension and horizontal expansion.
  • Integrate upstream beauty product industry (R&D, production, OEM).
  • Expand downstream sales channels (physical stores, franchises, e-commerce, tourism).

Environmental Challenges

  • Impact of COVID-19 on the operations of all subsidiaries for the past three consecutive years, especially in China due to dynamic-zero COVID policies and city lockdowns.
  • Intense competition in the beauty and body care industry.
Mitigation Strategies
  • Continuous adjustment of overall business strategy, including introduction of new products and services such as tourism and leisure, cross-industry collaboration in aesthetic medical industry, and dietary supplements.
  • Active and resilient strategy with a new double beauty business model; the joining of new plant to boost international OEM business; the addition of tourism and leisure business; continuously introducing new packages and products through investments in R&D expenditure and increasing satisfaction on member services.
  • Improving the management of direct stores, strengthening the franchise system, enhancing beauticians training, and providing diverse and novel products and packages to increase the number of active members, member visit frequency and product sales in the Chinese market.
