Social Achievements

• Agnico Eagle has developed a community relations program to engage stakeholders in the Barsele Project area. Basic environmental assessment and surface water characterization, species studies and hydrogeology studies are ongoing.

Governance Achievements

• The Board of Directors approves the financial report and ensures management discharges its financial responsibilities. The Board’s review is accomplished principally through the Audit Committee.

Effects of climate change on project work sites (extreme temperatures, heavy rains, flooding), increasing risks of injury or damage, changing costs of fuels and supplies, water availability, and site preparation/maintenance costs.
