Environmental Achievements
- Reduced Scope 1 total emissions to 17.8 million tonnes of CO2e in 2023 and Scope 1 emissions intensity reduced to 1.90 TE CO2/ TE NH3.
- Mechanically completed North America’s first commercial-scale green ammonia production plant (capacity to produce up to 20,000 tons of green ammonia annually).
- Progressed carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project in Donaldsonville, Louisiana; expected to start up in 2025 and sequester 2 million tons of CO2 annually.
