Environmental Achievements

• Saved various kinds of resources by optimising the technological process, enhancing the technology standard, using LED energy-saving lighting and cutting down water consumption during the production process. Adopted a recycle system throughout the production process so as to reduce the amount of water resources used.
• Achieved the target of energy saving, consumption lowering and discharge reduction.

Social Achievements

• Implemented a comprehensive performance appraisal scheme to award and praise the staff with excellent performance and assists them with their career development and promotion within the Group by providing appropriate trainings and opportunities.
• Established a comprehensive management system in occupational health and safety, strictly complied with the regulations of occupational health and safety in mainland China and Hong Kong, and laid a solid foundation for safe operation. As at 31 December 2017, the Group did not experience any significant safety accident during the operation.
• Provided updates and coordinated training on the GEM Listing Rules and relevant regulatory requirements to the Directors.

Governance Achievements

• Complied with the Corporate Governance Code as set out in Appendix 15 of the GEM Listing Rules.

Mitigation Strategies

• Overcame unfavorable factors relating to increasing production cost, dropping drug prices, restriction on prescription of medicines and rising raw material costs, and achieved the goals of projects set out in the beginning of the year.
• Emphasized on sales and achieved breakthrough with the rapid growth of sales of our dominant products to push our sales to a new height.
• Strictly followed the management regulations of the new version Good Manufacturing Practice, strengthened the production management, enhanced quality, reduced costs, increased efficiency, so as to guarantee the supply of goods with the goal of achieving rapid growth of sales.
