- Completed EIA and LP; working on PBA to address impacts identified in ECI
- Designed Volta Grande Gold Project to not require water extraction from the Xingu River; water requirements will be met by capturing precipitation and surface runoff.
- Investigating near-pit crushing and conveyor transport of mine waste to reduce truck requirements; evaluating alternative fuels for mine truck haulage; investigating high-pressure grinding rolls and secondary crushing in the processing circuit to reduce carbon emissions and operating costs.
