Environmental Achievements
- Tailings column trials undertaken at Hera to assess tailings dam cover options; rehabilitation undertaken at Peak on areas disturbed by 2019 exploration and historic mine sites.

Social Achievements
- Launched Aurelia Metals – Safe Metals strategy to improve workplace health and safety; introduced a Senior Management Taskforce for Significant Incidents.
- Donations supported Cobar High School Makerspace, air conditioners at Cobar retirement village, and Cobar Miner’s Race Day (donation deferred due to COVID-19).

Environmental Challenges
- Deterioration in Total Recordable Injury Frequency Rate (TRIFR) from 12 to 22; unanticipated water management requirements and lower than expected base metal revenues impacted AISC.
- COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges to business continuity and workforce management.
- Breach of Section 4.2(1)(b) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 for transporting concentrate after daylight hours.
Mitigation Strategies
- Launched Aurelia Metals – Safe Metals strategy with four targeted components; introduced small, consistent, and traceable work teams to mitigate COVID-19 risks.
- Implemented strict COVID-19 controls, including small, consistent, and traceable workgroups; engaged with local communities to address FIFO/DIDO workforce implications.
