Social Achievements

• Related started exclusively as an affordable housing developer in 1972 and today is one of the largest developers and preservationists of affordable and workforce housing in the country.
• 74% of all the rental apartments Related owns and operates serve traditional affordable households.
• Our traditional affordable housing portfolio now serves the needs of over 50,000 households and 100,000 people
• From 2017 through 2021 Related has delivered significant impact in our communities through our certified M/WBE spend: $924.3 Million with 1,418 diverse suppliers
• Created the “Hudson Yards Hiring Network” to help assure that as many of the operational jobs being created by our new Hudson Yards development would be made available to those NYC residents who might have additional barriers to employment. Over 300 individuals placed.
• Partnered with Esusu to implement rent reporting to benefit residents, boosting credit scores by 28 points (on average) for 72% of enrolled residents.
