COVID-19 pandemic caused some delays in ongoing clinical trials of TAB014 and levobetaxolol HCl in China and clinical trials of our licensing partners in their respective territories.
Briefly experienced delays in the import of equipment and machinery in China in the first half of 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Employed various measures to mitigate any impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our ongoing clinical trials and patient participation, including contacting new clinical trial sites, offering personal protection equipment to researchers, engaging in frequent communications with our CROs and principal investigators, suggesting the investigators to encourage enrolled patients to visit local qualified hospitals for follow-up evaluations if necessary and arranging medicine delivery service.
Supply chain had largely recovered as of the Latest Practicable Date. Resumed normal and full operations since April 2020.
Implemented preventive measures such as regularly sterilizing and ventilating our offices and manufacturing facility, checking the body temperature of our employees daily, keeping track of the travel history and health conditions of employees, and providing face masks and disinfectant to employees attending our offices and facilities.

Published first ESG report in July 2021 to enhance stakeholders’ understanding of socially responsible practices.
Established policies on environment, employment system, occupational health and safety, training and development, supply chain management, product responsibility, anti-corruption and community investment.

Clearly defined ESG responsibilities of the Board and senior management.
Established a sustainability steering committee to assist the Board in managing and supervising ESG initiatives.

COVID-19 impact: temporary delays in some clinical trials due to limited patient access and implementation of alternative work arrangements due to local lockdown restrictions.

Maintained close communication with suppliers and global partners to ensure collaboration and advance R&D progress.
