Environmental Achievements

  • Bay City, Texas seamless pipe mill became the first pipe manufacturing facility in the United States to achieve LEED certification.
  • Tenaris invested over $400M in renewable energy projects with the construction of two wind farms in Argentina, reducing CO2 emissions by 152,000 t/yr.
  • Ternium announced its new Environmental and Energy Policy, establishing new work axes and ambitions regarding environmental care, such as achieving carbon neutrality of products and operations and promoting the use of new feasible energies for the industry.
