Environmental Achievements
- Energy consumption fell in real terms by 3.5 percent in 2019 and greenhouse gas emissions fell by 4.4 percent. Measured as a percentage of sales, emissions fell 10.4 percent.
- Waste products generated during production consist primarily of scrap metal. Scrap metal is 100 percent recycled and other waste is recycled up to almost 90 percent.
- Lindab Ventilation opened a new production plant for circular ventilation ducts in Gothenburg, reducing transport needs and CO2 emissions.
